May Syms (Georgia/Choreographer)

In the role of showgirl "Georgia", May's hard-earned dance skills and natural stage presence allow her to cut through. A formidable emerging performer and choreographer, her work already embodies the tenets of an artist's life: commitment to craft, authenticity, fearlessness, playfulness and grace...all while rocking a sequined leotard.

Still barely old enough to drive, May moved to the big smoke from a regional town we city folk can't remember the name of, going straight from her Country home to Kings Cross. May quickly fell on her feet, poised and ready to chase her dreams of becoming a world-class professional dancer. She courageously applied for a job as a stagehand at Talk and Tease and was hired on the spot because she "turned up on time and had the guts to ask for a job". She is now easily old enough to drive, and the rest is history.

Currently a full-time dancer at Sydney's well-respected "Brent Street", May regularly learns and works with the best commercial dance choreographers and producers that Australia has to offer.
