Rainey Francis (Tess aka Cher)

An enigmatically down-to-earth diva, Rainey Francis fills out Cher's booty-clinging body-stocking in the role of "Tess". Possessing a voice with the gravity of molten lava yet the enticingness of honey; the exotic bone structure of an extra-terrestrial and the body of a brown Kylie Minogue; Rainey is as easy on the eyes as she is on the ears.

Rainey trained extensively in her formative years in musical theatre, in Western Australia's best performance arts programs. On the precipice of adulthood, she moved from the protective bubble of an immigrant family and the wholesome suburbia of Perth to land smack in the middle of the debaucherous, deviant non-stop party that was Sydney’s  hospitality and nightlife scene in the 90s. She juggled working as a waitress and an actor until settling down to start a family. 

During business hours, you will find Rainey being wined and dined by Sydney's most illustrious and trendy restaurants, in her day job for an international hospitality-industry-disrupting tech-start-up. Rainey has as much passion for restaurants as she does for the stage, which makes her a perfect fit for our cabaret dinner show—as perfect a fit as she is for a Cher-inspired sheer body stocking.
