FAQ's
1. Do you cater for vegans, gluten-free or [insert obscure food allergy here]?
Yes. Our Chef is yet to meet a dietary requirement he can't cater to. However, we do require adequate notice. The menu cannot be adapted on the night, as everything is prepped before the show. To inform us of your special culinary needs, please write a note in the cart at the time of booking. You are also welcome to send us an email with your booking reference and the information, and we can generally add it to the booking.
2. I didn't receive a separate email with tickets, am I still coming to the show!?
Yes. Your booking confirmation serves as a ticket. When you arrive, your name will be on the guest list (if everything has gone according to plan). Rarely will you even need to show anything at the door. Like life, all you will need is a booking name and a sparkle in your eye.
3. How Does the Seating Work?
We have intimate cabaret-style seating, which means you will enjoy the show from your own individual table. Our in-house Seating Fairy designs the plan before each show based on the bookings. She will lovingly assign you your table based primarily on your ticket type and how far in advance you booked. Read more about the ticket types here.
We are an up-close-and-personal affair. No tables are "far" from the action; however, some tables may have a more attractive view of the stage than others. Tables closer to the front are low with dining chairs. Tables a little further back, in the wings or at the bar, are high tables with bar stools which allow guests to see over the heads of the people in front of them. Larger groups are seated on neighbouring tables. This may be a combination of low and high tables to maximise sightlines and allow us to keep you as close as possible.
4. I'm booking a group. How much does it cost? How do I book a group?
Many hens groups, adult birthday parties, work functions and even divorce parties celebrate with us. When booking for a group, the price is just the ticket price per person. There are no special packages or prices for groups. Any group up to 36 people can attend a public show, space permitting.
We strongly recommend booking everyone together under one name so the Seating Fairy will know you are to be seated together on neighbouring tables. Booking individually always risks not being seated near each other. If confirming numbers is like herding cats,, it's generally best to go ahead and book the core group to secure your place in the room, and then add the stragglers later. It's generally easier to add people to an existing booking than to find space for a large group last minute.

5. What is the situation with refunds?
All bookings are always non-refundable. Much like tickets to a play or concert, there are no refunds. With 72 hours' notice before the start of the event, we can make changes to your booking, including transferring to another date or giving you a 6-month credit to re-book if you don't have an alternate date in mind. Of course, you are always welcome to gift your booking or send someone in your place.
6. How rude is the show? Can I bring my Grandmother?
Everyone has different thresholds for rudeness and nudeness. Some shows contain more risqué striptease and some more adult language. We would generally say our shows are suitable for audiences 16 years and above, like an M15+ movie rating. Although people younger and much, much, much older have come to the show and had a fabulous time. As far as the "burlesque" goes, this involves removing clothes as far as nipple covers a g-string. It is generally done in a light-hearted, humorous or very elegant and artistic way. So in our experience, Grandma will love it!
7. Where are you located?
We are on the main drag in Kings Cross, which is on the eastern border of Sydney's CBD. You can find us on Google Maps. The address is Level 1, 33-35 Darlinghurst Road. We are above the Potts Point Hotel, for easy reference.
8. Is there parking? How do I get there?
Our preferred pick is the Holiday Inn on Victoria Street, which is only about a 10 min walk away, and our guests receive the special, highly discounted rate of only $25 for overnight parking. That's easily the best price in town. Most of the free street parking kicks in about 6pm, so that's also an option. However, the Potts Point nightlife hot zone can get a little crowded around dinner time. Kings Cross train station often has trains running until late and is only a 2-minute flat walk away.
9. Your shows are so good. How are you so boldly creative and unique and like, amazing??
Well, that's easy. We are the realised vision of prodigy sex symbol, and creative genius Scarlett Furi. We also have an amazing team of passionate performers and hospitality staff who live for the applause and the glory of co-creating Sydney's most successful burlesque cabaret dinner show.
